erbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participated in the Luxury Travel Mart (LTM) held in Kazakhstan’s Astana and Almaty cities from September 17 to 19.

Discussions were held with more than 30 tourism companies and tour operators from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, highlighting opportunities for cooperation and presenting Azerbaijan’s luxury tourism potential during the B2B meetings organized within the event 

It should be noted that from January to August 2025, Azerbaijan welcomed 69,332 visitors from Kazakhstan and 37,718 visitors from Uzbekistan, marking year-on-year increases of 19% and 28% respectively.

Direct flights operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), Air Astana, FlyArystan, and Uzbekistan Airways connecting Baku with Almaty, Astana, and Tashkent continue to contribute to the growth of mutual visitor flows and the strengthening of tourism ties between the countries.
